Day of Defeat - Between Angel and Insect

Today i went around chanting "todayisagooddaytodie", hoping that the blizzard-wc2 gods would shower their blessings unto me and grant me swift victory. Well there was only showers, and lots of it, but i didnt receive any blessings, sadly. But i did realize two successive swift defeats, for once i looked through both papers, i knew i wasnt going to pass.

Yes, i'd spent the whole of yesterday preparing for this big day, but it all came to naught. I'd even forgone doing 2 tutorials (which were due today). Now i am so far behind, it will take me days to even catch up to where i am today. The weekends are so short, they might as well not exist.

I hope that this will be the last post for the near future, cos i really have to get serious with my work, or else its really gg. So, i'd make it an extra long post.

In this world, there are Gods, and then there are demi-gods, there are old gods, there are new gods and then there are mortals. (No offence to Christians, this isnt abt religion). What I am trying to say is, what makes Gods different from the other types of gods? Most would say power, but while true, their power is only the result of how they behave differently from the rest, hence their ability to level up quicker.

Take for example, the god beyond gods, light of lights, he whom we do not speak of directly, and compare him to a demi-god, who walks among us mortals, but does lead us to salvation as well. While both do rescue us from the burning lava, kai helps u to grow your own wings, to learn (and fall) thru your own way, to find your own salvation and soar into the heavens. Demi-gods, on the other hand, will mostly max out at being "demi" because while they do help you get wings, they do it by hollowing out your bones and contorting them into wings to help u to fly. In other words, it hurts. But at the end of the day, both have brought you rapture, and so you still have to give thanks.

Well, this isnt really funny to those not in the know. I just needed to practise my writing skills.

Today i tried. and i fell. now i understand why trying is better than not. it hurts less in the end
