Cruise control

On Wednesday i embarked for my very first cruise trip with my family. It was pretty disconcerting to feel that you are not moving, but to see that you are moving at first, but eventually I got used to it. On the ship, we had up to six meals a day, because there are multiple dining areas. For example, after we had breakfast at the chinese restaurant, we could walk to the buffet area for a second round.

I was wondering how this could be profitable for the operators, when we stumbled onto the answer. The casino! Even though I didnt have the money to play, I could feel the lure of beating the system, the temptation of quick and easy cash. Even my dad, who doesnt know how to play, joined in the action (and lost $20).

Overall it was a pretty enjoyable experience, but it could have been much much better if our friends from two certain countries had not decided to showcase their spitting and shoving techniques to us. Yes, we know you are the best, no need to show off =/
