A Typical Day

I guess I should be happy that I finally found employment, (no matter how short it is) but then again, it goes against my nature to be happy.

Went for the briefing alone today, which meant something was already wrong, cos there was supposed to be 2 of us, but thats ok. I hoped to be able to learn something, as it is a large scale event, or even, dare I say it, be paired up with some hot chick. But dreams are dreams, I am who I am.

And so I went to register, and then I realised that I had been enrolled as a substitute, for those who backed out at the last minute. Ok, I thought, maybe I could end up as a runner to one of the bosses, can learn something too.

In the hall, names were read out for the various positions. Data entry, scanners, surveyors, lounge temps, conference temps.. nope, my name wasnt there. Then it came. SHUTTLE BUS BOYS. Once i heard it, I knew my name would be inside. Brainless job, all guys.

It is my destiny.

Later on, when we decided (by chance) to see who would end up as the lone "shuttler" at the service bay, i didnt even need to guess who it would be.

Oh, and i just realised the ippt i booked for tmr was actually conducted this morning. yay.
