DD

His face is all over the papers and on posters around the island. But seriously, how many of you are really looking out for him, when you walk to the bus stop or take the train or when u are in the public in general? By looking out, I mean taking every face you see and making a mental comparison to his. After all, if he were to surface in public, he would have altered his appearance drastically.

I say this because it seems many of us dont care whether he is found or not! I know someone who said airily, "I dont care or talk about people I know next to nothing about", while others cite their everyday lives and work being more important[1].

I suppose why people generally dont give a damn is because they expect the government to take care of it eventually, like how they crushed the local JI network in 2001. But the thing is, since they screwed up so majorly in letting him get away, whats to prevent them from screwing up in preventing future attacks?

Expecting the govt to always be able to take care of everything (like they have for the past decades) is precisely the form of arrogance that will undo us in the end.

eh, i'm more worried about getting in staring incidents if i look to closely to someone who resembles him, therefore i don't keep a lookout
