Dreams

Have you ever wished for something so hard, you actually dreamt of it happening? I think the mind gets so frustrated with itself/you, it plays out the scenario for you, just to keep you sane. Last night was the second time such a dream occurred. It makes me wonder, whether it is better to be delusional and happy, or taste bitter reality. Of course, the ideal answer is to change reality, but some things are just out of our hands.

I used to think that dreaming was like watching a very real movie, in that you just experience it and cannot decide what actually happens. However, lucid dreaming (also known as conscious dreaming) is very real. (links: [1][2])While in secondary school, i had a friend who was already able to do it. I just didnt know what it was called then.

The hardest part is to stay in the dream (and not awake) once you realise that you are in fact dreaming. But it seems all that is needed is some perseverance and hard work. (and its free!)

Wouldnt it be interesting, to explore the inner recesses of one's mind and meet your own imagination in person. Personally, i have not been able to do it yet, although i have known of this for over a year. Thats because 'due dilligence' is not in my dictionary, as i confirmed while making bsp notes today.

People have always known how to fly. Its just that somewhere along the way, they forgot how to
