came across this guy's autobiography. he made the switch from SOC to BIZ after one sem and seems so happy now.. and before that the papers wrote about this guy who won some baking scholarship or something. all this stuff about following your dreams make me wonder again if i am on the right path at all..
that said, the following song rocks even though the words dont all make sense and dont apply to me at all. maybe it was that scene from Be Cool.

Why compare?
I don't think compare is an appropriate term to use here.
It just seems that he's more aware that people around him are leading a more fulfilling life and he's envious; which is understandably how any unhappy person will feel.
I do think this "comparison" is a much better choice than wallowing in self-pity.
