At a time when others were going for lab outings, i was still in the lab. It was a classic case of wait to rush, rush to wait, reminiscent of the saikang armed forces. I was tired and demoralised, frustrated at being overly supervised, where overly is an extreme understatement. I dont blame them, but it still sucks. My every move (aside from going to the loo) was watched, lest I blow something else up.

During one of those wait to rush moments, i turned on my laptop and went online. No one was around, except Xela. Very foolishly, i started talking to him. Out of the blue,

Xela: Do you know its very difficult to find pics of pretty asian girls online?
Me: Since when did u stop looking at pictures of guys?

And just as unexpectedly, he sent this picture of some naked but strategically poised woman in the chat, JUST as my lab officer walked past and looked at my screen. I quickly closed the window, but the damage was already done (thank goodness i only have one week left in the lab)

Me: [insert expletive]
Me: No pron please!
Xela: Its not porn

We had a short discussion on the definition of porn for 10 seconds before i decided it just wasnt my day and i switched off the laptop.
