hold on to that feeling, they say
so you believe, and you hold on
hold on tightly
you cling to its shards
grasp at shadows
clutch at reflections
even when its gone
you dream
and think of what it must have felt like
reconstructing each and every detail
your memory is hazy
was it this way or that
then you wonder
if it even happened at all?
