one of the perks of my now ex temp job was the flexibility. i ate and slacked (and slept) whenever i wanted. i had the good fortune (and lesser pay) to explore a rather exotic barber shop, mt faber, a cafe cum emart, a kubor and a shrine which i otherwise would not have.

there were also two shops which had dogs, and they came over to me once i went in. i think they wanted to chase me out, but anyway i was glad to have their attention. it got me thinking how wonderful it would be to have a dog run over to greet you once you step home. i mean, people certainly dont do that.

going around the hdbs also let me meet stray cats, and i made it a point to take pictures of stray cats everyday :) most are pretty well fed and groomed, and they look princely

last, and of course the least, were the people. i dont like to bother people, and said people dont like me to bother them. still, it was a good learning experience. you can never judge a book by its cover. people who look pleasant may turn out not to be very pleasant at all. but anyway i believe we treat strangers differently from the people around us so it doesnt matter. the more worrying part was when people smoke me and i dont realize it until 30 min later, which is too late. i really need to learn how to read people better. last of all, i appreciate all the kindness i got and i will be nicer to strangers in future.

i also realize this made me more outspoken, which is probably a good thing. (note that i said more, which simply means more than before, and still very little)
