So just like that, 8 days and 6 nights of magic was over. The last time i saw snow was on the ground in Korea about 15 years ago, and now i not only got to see snow falling, i got to experience a freaking blizzard. simply awesome! i loved the wind whipping in my face, the semi numb feeling on my cheeks and just the general sight of snow gently drifting through the air. whats cool about snow is that you simply dust it off your clothes, and your clothes dont get wet, unlike playing in the rain :)
of course, there were also downsides, like getting a rash from heat tech, or when the gentle powdery snow turned into hard lumps of ice lashing at your skin. but i generally prefer cold to heat heheh.
the vast expense of nature was also breathtaking. witnessing the glory of unbroken scenery, plus without having to worry about deadlines or responsibilities. all we had to worry about was getting juice for our cameras and wifi, and also what to eat for the next meal. just thinking about it makes me smile again.
i wish holidays could last forever, but alas, time (and money) is finite. well, back to reality after a short x'mas break. it was great while it lasted, but as you know, this too shall pass.
