Light of the Seven

Great shows have great showtracks - think LOTR or Star Wars and the relevant tunes come to mind.

Of course, GOT has its now all-too-familiar opening sequence, but i really like the two tunes in S06E10. First, the Light of the Seven, which was played during the trials by the Septons, and during Cersei's coronation. Second, the Winds of Winter, which was played towards the closing of the episode.

The first use of Light of the Seven was played without any dialogue and served as a great build-up to Cersei's trial. All the main players getting dressed, ready to clash, helped to build the anticipation to what was about to happen.

The second time it was played. it led to an exchange of looks between Jamie and Cersei, which hints at a divide opening between the siblings.

The second tune was also memorable because it showcased the power of the Targaryen-Dornish-Tyrell fleet, and every time i hear the tune i can see all the ships (plus 3 dragons) sailing into the horizon.
