Inertia can be a terrifying force. Sometimes I can lie in front of the tv for hours. Even when I get thirsty, my limbs refuse to move. It is only until when my body is completely sapped of fluids that I make a last ditch attempt to crawl to the kitchen to stay alive.
On the same topic, I finally got round to sending that card to my instructor. He had frequently taken out many "Thank You" cards during driving lessons to show how his numerous students had shown their undying gratitude to him. It was thus an unwritten rule that I would have to send one too. Well when I finally passed, I did go to buy a card. And so it came to pass, on this very day, when the stars moved into the right alignment, I finally dug up the card and called him to ask for his address. Seven months of inertia finally overcome! That was all very fine, just that I couldnt find an envelop that fit. They were all too small! I know that the card should have come with one, but at the time of purchase, I had been intending to give it to him by hand and thought that the envelop would cost more. Talk about sua ku. (How many times I took the test is a different story)
Anyway my sister said you could always make one, and after hearing one hour of my cries of anguish and screams of frustration, she decided to make one for me out of inverted wrapping paper. How creative! Thanks sis. Hopefull I will find a stamp within the next seven months..
Recently I have discovered some flattened animals outside of my house. Either there is some really heavy traffic around or my area is infested or both. First time it was a flattened rat, pretty disgusting. But nature is a wonderful cleaner, after two days, the flies were done and the ants were full and all that was left was its fur coat. and a tail. Today, I saw a flattened frog! What next, a dog?
I finally realise why study break is hated by so many people. I actually have to spend most of tommorow in school, even longer than my usual monday.. Sigh.
