Holly Days

Japan is a nice place really. Weather was nice. The people (mostly the older generation) are polite to a fault. Service is sooo much better than here. Food's good, and healthier, i think. And the cleaniness! If our toilets are 'OK', theirs are practically sterile. According to our guide, our kind are not well liked, because we take the lower tier jobs -->Social problems; much like what we are experiencing, but with a different set of people. Anyway, I can see why we arent liked. I felt so bad, cos we were always talking so loudly, cutting queues, and eating up all the free samples, most of the time without buying..

While it was nice to escape from everyday life here, i guess you cant run away from life, until you actually run out of it. Miss Understanding reared her ugly head again, and now I know how Glados felt. It was extra bad for me, cos I dont have many friends to begin with, so I tend to stick to my family. Suffice to say, it could have been a much better holiday.

The day after i returned, i met up with some of my sec sch friends. Was surprised at how much they had grown (inside), i am truly still a big baby..

On another note, kai intro-ed this jap show "Liar Game" to me. Jap shows are really nice! I managed to catch "Jump!" and Mr Marick (the Magician) while in Japan, and really enjoyed them, even though the only words I understood were "yataa" and "yosh". I wonder why we only copy taiwanese shows and not japanese shows.. Anw, I think the story is saying that world isnt as bad as we think it is, That there is some good in everyone, and all good in a chosen few. Perhaps these people do exist. On Alderaan, that is.

Oh yes. Merry Xmas to all. Especially to Prof Raj, for being the only one to send me a card. Yes, the same one sent to 824 ppl in the fac.
