I like this picture alot; it shows how everything boils down to perspective. Even after experiencing the same event, different persons would recall and respond to it differently.
Heres a not so good but necessary example.
With falling oil prices, should the cost of public transport go down?
Citizen: Definitely, since prices went up together with rising oil prices. Furthermore, today's news reported that inflation has been falling since june, while in times of economic difficulty wages should either be frozen or falling. No matter what u peg prices to, it should go down.
Transport Minister: I dont even take public transport
Anyhow,it is always better to see different perspectives in order to see the bigger picture; which is to see the event simply as it is and without bias. To use another poor analogy, you dont ask a HU player if ORC is imba, cos 99% of them will just say yes. All this perspective thing further boils down to the concept of self. And if you go onto non-self, thats where i am lost.
At the end of the day, one should not even be comparing between human and orc, chinese or malay, christian or buddhist, gay or straight. As a wise man said, its not which vehicle you use, its how you use it that matters.
