I heard this song on the bus this morning and it brought a smile to my face. Like the DJ, I hadnt heard it in years! Well, its quite a nice song, but more importantly it brought back memories. There are some songs that just remind me of certain past events, probably because i heard them during those events and they kind of fit the occassion.

I just love the opening, especially if you blast it! Its that little bit haunting, that little bit captivating, just like that lady they are singing about.



If my understanding is correct, entertainment, which music falls under, is frowned upon in Buddhism, because it distracts the senses. But then again, i am not aiming for nirvana or enlightenment this lifetime. perhaps i am just taking out the parts that are useful to me......
