Thin Red Line

There is a fine line that we walk between pride/self-confidence and arrogance, and people who slip and fall into the latter are unlikely to notice it. They see others as weaker or even worthless. They think they are the best, they demand respect and without even trying to earn it.

Dont they know, that everything is relative? They could not be considered as capable, if there werent others less able below them propping them up. It is okay to take pride in one's effort and achievement, it is another thing to look down on others who are less talented than you are. Even if you do not wish to help them, you could at least hold your silence.

On the hand, i happen to suffer from the exact opposite of this problem.
