This statement has been echoing in my mind lately. Not only at work, but also at home, when fixing the internet problem. A friend suggesting plugging my laptop directly into the modem, and I immediately felt upset with myself for not having thought of something so simple. Whats more, we often did such switching with our radio equipment during NS, its pretty much the same logic!
This question pops up much more often during work.. Its the main crux behind my numerous mistakes. On hindsight, if only i used my head, I would have avoided many blunders. (I just made another one today :( )It is a matter of not being mindful enough, really.. This question also pops up when I come to the end of an experiment. What do I do with the sample now? Which tests do i run, what should i use.. and most of the time, i have to have the answer presented to me on a platter..
Having an inquisitive nature is a really good thing. It helps you to think ahead and make the very necessary jumps in logic.
And yes, my connection is back up, and ahead of time too, since my dad went to buy a router. And the good thing that came out of it? Well, i ran into Eric at the library last night.. and we have a much better router now; I can finally access the net from my room!
