i came across this guy who seemed to be the kind that lives on handouts and wouldnt lift a finger to put food onto the table. At first i was disgusted and filled with righteous indignation. He was able bodied enough, why couldnt he just put in a hard day's work to provide for himself?

After sometime, i realised that i am not much different, for most of my life i have been living off my parents. if i had been born in different circumstances, i might have ended up the same as that guy. Until the day i can contribute to the family expenses, i wouldnt be much better.

so what i am trying to say, is that i shld feel thankful for everything i have. after all, if my parents were some low life who couldnt do a decent day of work, i would in all likelihood end up like them.

its true that you cant choose the circumstances you are born into, but you can choose how to live your life. but those circumstances do play a role in deciding how you live your life.

anyhow, for tonight as least, i will go to bed feeling blessed and lucky.
