perspectives

last week i told norest that i hit a wall. i cant get any better in starcraft; mired in bowels of silver league (gold is still considered noob). after the usual sacarstic remarks and lots of caps, he told me to watch some videos by day9tv.

i think sean plott is an absolute geek; who does 1 hour commentaries?? but he has an excellent starcraft mind, and he is really funny as well. coming from me, geek cannot have a bad connotation. anyway, he offered different perspectives on zerg play. if the opponent is walled in, it should be him under pressure, not you! drone up, why mass units that cant be of value now?

so many ppl including me think that zerg is underpowered, when all it comes down to is how you look at the situation. building your economy means less fighting units, but it also means that you have the resources to mass units only when the threat arrives.

i know the importance of looking from different angles, i have written it so many times before. its needed everywhere; in the workplace, in problem solving, in dealing with people, not just in gaming.

but really, its so difficult to apply
