Meetings 101

Meetings are only interesting when someone (other than me) is in the hot seat and getting grilled like a beef patty at Burger King

The latest meeting was particularly insightful and i learnt a few lessons from it

#56: When you have bad news to present, always send a subordinate / underling. This is also why i was present

#22: When you are asked why things went wrong, blame someone else who isnt present and list the things you did to try to solve the problem (while leaving out what you didnt do to solve the problem)

#43: When asked if there is a backup plan, always say YES even if you dont have one. You can talk absolute crap when explaining your plan, but always say YES

#30: When you are in deep shit, making lame jokes does not help. At all.
