the Smarts

In the 2nd half of my first 17 years of life, i thought i was smart
After I turned 18, i realized i wasnt, but tried hard to be. i envied my friends who were smart

today i realized that being smart isnt enough. my friend said, there are smart people all around. sure, you can be smart, but there will always be someone smarter, so whats the big deal? when you are smarter than others, you can show them you are smart by putting them down, or, you can teach them and help them to grow instead.

Like the quote below says, it is easy to defeat, but difficult to win.

Anyhow, i guess its all part of the learning process. Learning how to work with different types of people and also learning to appreciate those you can work with. Finding out one more thing i dont like brings me one step closer to what i do like.
