I havent seen this written anywhere so i just wanted to say that aside from the one episode for Dr Pershing aside, I am pretty sure the formula for The Mandalorian is to just portray a RPG game.

The titular character has been continuously leveling up over the 2.5 seasons, gaining new armour, new weapons, new planes, droid and (also switching) party members.

He has also undertaken numerous main quests, like rescuing Grogu multiple times, and side-quests, like finding the robot killers and helping Boba Fett.

This is probably why it has been so good so far. what is interesting is that in Season 3, he isnt so much the main character, as Bo-Katan has arguably been playing a more major role in unity the different Mandalorian sects to retake Mandalore. It is interesting how this will turn out. Will she end up as the villan, or will we see Moff Gideon and Dr Pershing making a comeback?
